Biography

Michael is Director of Wind Product and Business Development at Green Power Monitor (GPM), a DNV company. His role is to oversee wind activities within GPM globally by actively engaging with the market to ensure GPM’s wind offering is best-in-class and exceeds the needs of our diverse customer base. Michael brings deep domain knowledge to the role having worked as a wind energy academic in Australia and overseas prior to commencing as a senior engineer in the Asset Operations and Maintenance team within DNV. He holds a Doctorate of Philosophy specialising in Fluid Mechanics related to Wind Energy. Prior to commencing with GPM, he conducted novel research in several Wind Energy related areas. Michael has published widely in leading scientific journals, lectured in tertiary engineering courses and spoken at scientific conferences around the world.
