Research Associate, Fraunhofer Institute for Wind Energy Systems (IWES)

Biography

Mr. Rubio is an Energy Engineer with several years of experience in the wind energy industry and he is currently a research associate at the Fraunhofer Institute for Wind Energy Systems. As part of the Wind Data Analysis group, he carries out research activities focused on the measurement and evaluation of offshore wind resources and conditions, with a particular focus on the application of lidar technology. Additionally, Mr. Rubio is a Ph.D. student at the University of Oldenburg and one of the Early Stage Researches of the Innovation Training Network LIKE (Lidar Knowledge Europe).
