Biography

Gregor Giebel worked for 25 years at Risø National Laboratory and its successor, DTU Wind Energy and Energy Systems, in energy meteorology. His main field is wind power forecasting, where he now is the Operating Agent of IEA Wind Task 51 on Forecasting. Other fields of interest include wind farm control (lead of the EU FarmConners coordination action), energy systems, wind power integration and the limits of large-scale wind farms (in the EU Train2Wind Marie Curie network).
