Biography

Dr. Michael Kirschneck leads the product development of DC-OM and oversees the deployment to Sentient customers in Europe. He has a track record of ~ 10 years in the wind industry as researcher, engineer, project manager and entrepreneur. In this time, he became an expert for wind turbine drivetrain simulations and O&M processes and published scientifically in this field. He joined Sentient Science in September 2018 after being responsible for the structural design and integrity of an OEM in Italy. He is a strong believer of the wind industry and has an interested in driving the acceptance and competitiveness of this technology forward by making machines and processes smarter. Dr. Kirschneck holds a Dipl.-Ing. in mechanical engineering for the technical university of Munich, Germany and a Ph.D. from the university of technology Delft, The Netherlands.
