Biography

Dr. Sirr is a Postdoctoral Researcher in Economics at University College Cork where he is currently working on a project titled "Community Engagement in Wind Energy: Innovative Approaches to Achieving a Social License". Dr. Sirr holds a PhD in Economics from University of Limerick, Ireland. He has previously worked as Lecturer in Economics at University College Cork and Lecturer in Finance at University of Limerick. He has also previously worked on a number of other research projects related to renewable energy and climate change. His current research is focused on enhancing citizen investment in wind energy projects.
