Research Assistant, University of Colorado Boulder
BiographyJulian Quick has been working in the wind energy research space for over six years and has published several studies examining opportunities to improve mathematical approaches to problems in the wind energy sector. He is currently a PhD student at the university of Colorado Boulder, where his work has focused on developing outer loop applications of computational fluid dynamics for wind energy systems. Prior to the PhD, Julian was an intern with the Systems Engineering group at the National Renewable Energy laboratory. Julian received his Masters of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado in 2019 and his Bachelor of Science in Environmental Resources Engineering from Humboldt State University in 2015.
