PhD candidate, DTU Wind Energy
BiographyMr. Sebastiani is in the second year of his PhD project at DTU Wind Energy. He studied Sustainable energy engineering at KTH Royal Institute of Technology with a Master thesis on wake modelling and analysis of wind farm SCADA data. After his studies, he joined DTU Wind Energy for a PhD project on the characterization of the power performance of a wind turbine inside a wind farm. The project aims to use nacelle-mounted lidars to define alternative power curves, which provide a more accurate assessment of the power performance and are reliable when the wind turbine is located inside a wind farm. The project is part of the Innovation Training Network Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions: Lidar Knowledge Europe (LIKE).
