Biography

Mr. Sebastiani is in the second year of his PhD project at DTU Wind Energy. He studied Sustainable energy engineering at KTH Royal Institute of Technology with a Master thesis on wake modelling and analysis of wind farm SCADA data. After his studies, he joined DTU Wind Energy for a PhD project on the characterization of the power performance of a wind turbine inside a wind farm. The project aims to use nacelle-mounted lidars to define alternative power curves, which provide a more accurate assessment of the power performance and are reliable when the wind turbine is located inside a wind farm. The project is part of the Innovation Training Network Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions: Lidar Knowledge Europe (LIKE).
