Biography

Mr. Syed is working as a PhD candidate at the Wind Energy Department of Technical University of Denmark since November 2020. He is a Mechanical Engineer and did his Master's thesis research on the repowering potential of onshore wind farms in Pakistan. In his PhD research, he is focusing on the kinetic energy entrainment in large offshore wind farms. He is a part of the EU Horizon 2020 funded Marie Curie research Innovative Training Network called Train2Wind in which he is collaborating with 12 other PhD researchers across the European continent to study the entrainment process via various modeling and measurement techniques.
