Biography

Paul Kühn has been involved in wind energy research for more than 15 years. He is currently team leader of the wind resource characterization group at the Fraunhofer Institute for Energy Economics and Energy System Technology IEE in Kassel, Germany. Mr. Kühn studied energy conversion and management at Offenburg University of Applied Sciences. He received his doctorate from Kassel University in 2017. His current research is focused on innovative site assessment method as well as wind measurements (with lidar).
