Biography

Dr Matias Avila has been working in wind modelling for the lasts 10 years. He completed a PhD in Computational Fluid Dynamics in the technical university of Catalonia. He has several scientific publications in the field of numerical modelling of microscalar flows in wind farms. His research is focused on the computational wind modelling over heterogeneous complex terrain under different thermal stratifcations.
