Biography
Michael STAVY is an advisor (31 yr) on renewable energy project finance (wind, solar, energy storage, hydrogen, carbon taxes). He has a University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) BA (1967); Northwestern University MBA (1969) and Illinois CPA (1979-inactive). At UIC, Michael took math through diff-Q plus one year each of chemistry and physics. His 40 papers include “A Financial Worksheet for Computing the Cost (¢/kWh) of Solar Electricity Generated at Grid Connected PV Generating Plants (LCOE)”, Journal of Solar Energy Engineering (JSEE), Aug, 2002, and “The Carbon Content of Hydrogen Vehicle Fuel Produced by Hydrogen Electrolysis”, JSEE, Feb, 2005 He was quoted in the 04/04/13 NYT http://nyti.ms/10CnQ8T and in an 11/06/19 ABC TV News article, https://lnkd.in/eGE3f7R Michael taught (10/02) at the Ecole Supériere de Affairs (ESA), Grenoble-II (France), and at UIC (1997-98).
