Biography

Anders Stiger received the Master of Science degree in Industrial engineering (branches electrical engineering) from Linkoping’s University of Technology 1989. Currently, he is Product Manager Synchronous Condenser System at Hitachi Energy in Västerås, Sweden, where he has participated in the development, study and system integration of Synchronous Condensers. His employment experience covers different roles at ABB for the last 30 years, mainly if field of rotating machines. He has been engaged in developing the high inertia solution for synchronous condenser and the hybrid synchronous condenser system.
