WindEurope is the voice of the wind industry, actively promoting wind energy across Europe. We have over 600 members from across the whole value chain of wind energy: wind turbine manufacturers, component suppliers, power utilities and wind farm developers, financial institutions, research institutes and national wind energy associations.
We are looking for a Junior IT Officer to join our IT Team in a leading advocate organisation where you can make a meaningful impact in shaping the future of wind energy. You will be responsible for the internal user support, configuration and maintenance of IT equipment, maintenance of user accounts and IT onboarding to newcomers. Youwill report to the Head of IT.
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Hardware configuration and maintenance (PC, mobile phones, tablets)
- Creation and maintenance of user accounts
- IT support (1st line)
- Assistance to the IT Team in IT projects
- Administrative assistance to the IT Team (creating/updating IT documentation, ordering small equipment, updating IT inventories, creating purchase orders, etc.)

Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in IT (or equivalent job experience).
- Circa 2 years of previous professional experience
IT skills
- Experience in configuration and maintenance of IT equipment (Windows, iOS)
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Azure environment
- Familiarity with Sharepoint
- Familiarity with scripting, PowerShell and other administrator tools
- Proficiency in other Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word)
- Familiarity with TeamViewer or other remote support tools
Languages
- Very good level of English (written and spoken)
- French or Dutch is a plus (in communication with Belgian suppliers).
