Luis has been active in the wind industry for more than 10 years. He is currently a researcher at ForWind - Uni Oldenburg, where he is about to complete his PhD. He studied electro-mechanical engineering and worked 5 years as project manager at an oil refinery, a brewery and a glass bottle manufacturer. After he finished a master in renewable energies, he hold engineering roles at Overspeed and GE Wind Energy. Nowadays his research is focused in monitoring, data mining and decision making.
