Anna Maria Sempreviva

Biography

Dr. Anna Maria Sempreviva has been working in the wind energy sector since 1984 starting with the European Wind Atlas as member of the Italian team at the Italian National Council of Research, CNR. She owns a master degree in Physics and a PhD in Atmospheric Physics. At CNR she has been: head of section; member of the EERA JPWind Steering Committee as coordinator of Italian wind energy groups; Coordinator of the energy theme within the CNR S&T Foresight Programme; consultant for wind resource assessment for Italian project developers. In 2014, she moved, as senior scientist, to DTU, department of Wind Energy, former Risoe National Laboratory where she had been guest scientist since 1984. At Risoe she has been consultant for due diligence tasks for the large offshore Danish Wind Farms starting from Middelgrunden in 1998. She has been in the EERA JPWind Management Board as vice-chair for the Sub Programme on Wind Conditions and at present she is working in the FP7 IRPWind project on Open Data, coordinating a group of scientist for creating the taxonomy for metadata, finalized to a Wind Energy data portal.
