Floating Offshore Wind & Biodiversity Coexistence: A Data-Driven Report from WindFloat Atlantic
When: Wednesday 22 April, 17:00-18:00
Open to: All registered participants
Join us to explore the coexistence of floating offshore wind and marine biodiversity, featuring key insights from a data-driven report at WindFloat Atlantic, an operating floating wind farm since 2020.
The panel is presented by Ocean Winds, shareholder and operator of WindFloat Atlantic, demonstrating its commitment to sustainable renewable energy. Independent data collection and analysis were carried out by Blue Grid and academic partners at the University of Lisbon’s Faculty of Sciences (FCUL) and Politécnico de Leiria. Attendees will gain insights into biodiversity monitoring, positive impacts, coexistence strategies, and the value of third-party research in supporting sustainable offshore wind development.
