Session description
This session features three technical presentations showcasing recent advances in how wind conditions are modelled and analysed. The talks highlight developments in high resolution flow modelling, large scale atmospheric simulations, and the use of climate datasets in wind energy applications. Together, they provide insight into how new modelling approaches and data sources can be used to explore wind behaviour across different scales and contexts relevant to wind energy, helping to reduce uncertainty, manage risk and support more confident decision making.
