Session description
Europe has invested in its offshore wind supply chain to expand capacity and deliver the installations planned for the next five years.
Yet as turbines grow larger and projects become bigger and more complex, much of the industry still relies on custom, project-by-project solutions. Are we making the most of the supply chain Europe has built, or is there room for a more strategic, industrial approach—based on standardisation, serial manufacturing, and repeatable installation?
This panel brings together voices from across the offshore wind value chain to discuss where industrialisation could unlock scale and efficiency, and what is holding the industry back from taking that step.
