Session description

Wind Energy is Europe's best answer to achieve energy security and industrial competitiveness. This session will discuss how new industrial policies and funding instruments in the next EU budget can turn Europe's technological leadership in wind energy into true manufacturing strength and global competitiveness. Panelists will discuss why a European Fund for Wind Research & Competitiveness must be set up to ensure that the European wind industry can keep providing European industries and households with the clean and cheap electricity it needs.
