PO311: Industrializing blade health monitoring: accelerating ENGIE’s data-driven O&M

Nicolas Quiévy, Senior Wind Technology Manager, ENGIE

Abstract

Wind turbine blade inspections are critical to ensuring asset reliability, availability and optimizing O&M strategies. At ENGIE, we have been industrializing blade inspections across our global fleet, leveraging the digital solutions as a central enabler. Our platform allows us to standardize data collection and processing, store high-resolution imagery, and apply advanced analytics to assess blade health at scale. By integrating inspection results into our operational workflows, we are moving from reactive repairs to data-driven, proactive maintenance planning. ENGIE will share its experience in scaling inspections in a flexible manner, lessons learned in driving adoption across multiple geographies, and how strategic collaboration with our digital partners supports our ambition to maximize turbine availability and reliability by better through life management.
