Biography

With more than 20 years of international experience in wind resource assessment, energy yield analysis, and site suitability, Kai brings outstanding technical leadership and deep industry expertise to our growing global team. Throughout his career, he has contributed significantly to the development of modern wind energy methodologies, previously serving as Engineering Leader at UL Renewables Energy Advisory and leading the Micrositing (Wind & Site) department at DEWI. He also actively contributes to international standards, representing Germany in the IEC 61400-15 working group and participating in MEASNET and FGW expert committees. His arrival marks an important step in strengthening USENS’ commitment to technical excellence, accreditation-driven quality, and bankable renewable energy advisory services across Europe and beyond.
