Postdoctoral researcher, Vrije Universiteit Brussel
Biography
Cédric Peeters is a postdoctoral researcher specializing in condition monitoring and vibro-acoustics. He earned his PhD at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB), Belgium, with a focus on advanced signal processing for the identification and diagnosis of the condition and remaining useful life of rotating machinery. His doctoral work developed robust and scalable techniques to meet the growing industrial demand for these tools. Since 2020, he has advanced his work with an FWO-funded mandate on high-resolution speed-based condition monitoring. Currently, his research at VUB is dedicated to multi-modal condition monitoring, with a strong emphasis on ensuring the reliable monitoring of wind turbine drivetrains.Posters
