Biography

Claudia Sequeira holds a Bachelor's, Master's, and Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering. She began her professional career in the field of vibrations before transitioning to academia. Currently, she teaches at the University of Algarve in the Department of Mechanical Engineering. Her research focuses on renewable energy, with a particular emphasis on optimizing maintenance tools. She is a researcher at the CIMA, actively participating in both national and international projects. Claudia completed her Ph.D. in collaboration with the industry at Iberwind (now NADARA), where she continues to work as a consultant, developing innovative maintenance strategies for wind turbines. Post-Ph.D., she earned international certification in vibration analysis at levels 1, 2, and 3. She is the author of three books and has published numerous scientific articles in international journals and conferences. Additionally, Claudia is a reviewer for Web of Science journals in various scientific domains related to energy and sustainability.
