Biography

Katherine Dykes is currently the CEO of Sperra Europe, a company developing marine infrastructure for offshore renewable energy. She has over 20 years of experience in renewable energy - primarily wind energy with 15 years of research experience at NREL in the US and DTU in Denmark. Katherine's research over the last decade has involved applying systems engineering to optimization of wind turbine and plant design and operation. She holds a PhD from MIT in engineering systems and a dual-MS from The Ohio State University in electrical engineering and applied economics.
