Biography
Elvin holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from Technical University of Munich (Germany), a PhD in Mechanical Engineering degree from Imperial College London (UK) and a Masters in Finance degree from the London School of Economics and Political Science (UK). She is a consultant at Xodus with 18 years' technical, strategy and project finance experience in energy (conventional and renewable), infrastructure and oil and gas sectors. She worked in engineering, risk management and transaction advisory of energy and power generation projects. In addition to managing diverse engineering assignments, she contributed to the valuation of numerous power generation assets (including but not limited to solar power plants, onshore and fixed-bottom and floating offshore wind farms, gas peaking plants and CCGTs) and the preparation of bankable investment cases for these. Moreover, she advised Independent Power Producers developing renewable energy projects in both developed and developing countries to secure debt and/or equity financing.
