Biography

Bas van Wuijckhuijse has been active in the offshore wind industry for nearly a decade. With a background in Mechanical Engineering, he began his career in the high-tech sector, specializing in mechatronic systems engineering and experimental dynamics. In 2016, Bas joined TWD, where he contributed to the design of motion compensation systems. From this expertise, he went on to establish TWD's Marine Engineering department. Since 2023, Bas has led the company's innovation and research activities, with a strong focus on advancing transport and installation technologies for offshore wind.
