Biography

Ana María Palomares is a Senior Researcher in the Wind Energy Unit at CIEMAT, a public research centre based in Madrid, Spain. She holds a PhD in Physics (Meteorology) from the Complutense University of Madrid. She has over 37 years of experience in wind analysis and forecasting for the wind energy sector. Throughout her career, she has led and contributed to numerous national and international research projects, applying a range of methods—from physical modelling to statistical approaches—in both onshore and offshore wind energy locations.
