Biography

Simone Mancini is a Deputy Research Manager in the Wind Energy Department at TNO, the Netherlands Organisation for Applied Scientific Research. He has a mechanical engineering background and has been working in offshore wind research since 2020. His team specializes in high-fidelity offshore logistics modelling to support innovation in installation, maintenance, and decommissioning of offshore wind farms. His presentation covers results from Reliablade 2, an international innovation programme on wind turbine blade reliability and predictive maintenance.
