Biography

Bas Jansen is Programme Manager OranjeWind Knowledge at RWE, one of the world's biggest developers and operators of electricity generation assets onshore and offshore with a total installed capacity of over 46 GW. OranjeWind Knowledge is a R&D and dissemination programme related to joint RWE and TotalEnergies OranjeWind project [oranjewind.nl] which aims to provide the blueprint for future wind farms with improved system integration. Bas is passionate about energy technology and techno-economic system integration. He is one of the initiators of the OESTER consortium that aims to progress offshore storage technologies towards market implementation.
