Biography

David Howell has nearly 40 years of experience in nature conservation policy and practice in the public and voluntary sectors, in the UK, Spain, and EU. He specializes in integrating nature policy with policies in the water, marine, forestry, farming, climate and energy sectors. He is currently based in Madrid, with the national Partner of BirdLife Europe in Spain, SEO/BirdLife, where he shares his time equally between Spanish and international climate and energy policy, and supporting BirdLife Europe on EU offshore wind policy.
