Biography

Mr. Bischoff works currently for Stuttgart Wind Energy (SWE) at the Institute of Aircraft Design as a PhD candidate and research associate. He obtained his engineering degree (Dipl. Ing.) in aeronautical engineering at the University of Stuttgart with special focus on aerodynamics and wind energy. In the last years he worked mainly in the field of remote sensing and wind measurements. His research activities are currently related to floating lidar systems, offshore applications of lidar systems and the utilization of lidar systems in complex terrain.
