Biography

Jan HENSMANS is Advisor External Relations at the Belgian Federal Public Service Economy, SMEs, Self-Employed and Energy, General Directorate Energy. He has been working for the FPS Economy since July 1989 and has extensive experience in nuclear energy, oil, gas and electricity at national and international level. He is Belgian coordinator of the regional Benelux and Pentalateral Energy Cooperation and of the North Seas Energy Cooperation. He is also co-coordinator of the Greater North Sea Basin Initiative (GNSBI)
