Biography

Guillermo Rodríguez Llorente is an AI/ML engineer and project leader at HI Iberia, where he develops deep learning surrogate models and reinforcement learning strategies for complex energy systems, including floating offshore wind structures, particle accelerators and hybrid ships. He is pursuing an industrial PhD in Mathematical Engineering at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid and has presented his work at leading international conferences. With a background in industrial engineering and artificial intelligence, his focus is on optimisation, control and predictive maintenance for next-generation renewable energy infrastructures.
