R&D Engineer, Youwind Renewables
Biography
Thomas Lokken is an aerospace engineer educated at Delft University of Technology, with expertise in wind energy modelling and hybrid power plants. He began his career in R&D at Siemens Gamesa’s aerodynamics department in Rouen, France, where he contributed to the development of low-computational-cost, physics-based wind models. He later worked on BESS development and contracting at Ventolines in the Netherlands, focusing on co-located power plants. He currently plays a key role in the EU Horizon Europe project SUDOCO and is driving co-located plant optimization at Youwind.Posters
