PhD Researcher, DTU
Biography
Ashal is a PhD researcher at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU), focusing on digital infrastructures and circular construction materials, with a particular interest in wind turbine blade reuse. Her work is part of the EU-funded Blades2Build project. She holds a diploma and MSc in Architecture from Istanbul Technical University (ITU), where her research centred on performance evaluation and façade technologies. She has previously worked as an Innovation Assistant at Priedemann Facade-Lab in Berlin, and has experience in architectural design, building envelope systems, and interdisciplinary research. Her academic contributions include international conference papers and editorial work for COST Action TU1403. She brings a unique cross-disciplinary perspective to material circularity, integrating design, engineering, and digital coordination.Posters
