Biography

Milica Asceric is a Power System Consultant and PhD candidate in Power Engineering at the University of Belgrade. Her research focuses on the integration of renewable energy sources into power systems, with a particular emphasis on microgrids, energy storage technologies, and the challenges of reduced inertia in systems with high renewable penetration. Milica is also engaged in a strategic project that unifies the power and heat sectors, highlighting her commitment to advancing cross-sector energy integration. She has contributed to international projects worldwide and authored several papers on wind power integration, system inertia, and energy self-sustainable households, as well as the role of wind farms in providing frequency regulation services. Her professional background includes grid impact analysis, design, and project management across various renewable technologies, with technical expertise in Load Flow, Short Circuit, and Dynamic Analyses using PSS/E and DIgSILENT PowerFactory, as well as electromagnetic transient studies in PSCAD.
