Biography

Yoshiyuki Yajima received his Ph.D. degree in astrophysics from Hokkaido University, Sapporo, Japan, in 2022, and joined NEC Corporation as a researcher in the same year. Prior to joining NEC Corporation, he was honing his skills in radio astronomy, extragalactic astronomy, and interstellar physics at Hokkaido University. He is now engaged in R&D on modeling, recognition, and prediction based on distributed fiber-optic sensing to understand the real-world situations by developing the digital twin. His research areas are observational data analysis, statistical analysis, and applications of data assimilation.
