Biography
Torge Lorenz completed his PhD studies on numerical simulations of the atmosphere related to offshore wind in 2017 at the University of Bergen, Norway, within the Norwegian Centre of Offshore Wind Energy. Since then, he has conducted atmospheric research on various scales, ranging from regional climate studies to short-term weather forecasts. Since 2022, he has been a member of the Offshore Operations team at the Fraunhofer Institute for Wind Energy Systems, where he works on the simulation of offshore wind farm operations and maintenance.Presentations
