Biography

Dr. Sehestedt is a software architect and leads the software development for High voltage switchgear monitoring at Hitachi Energy. He is enthusiastic about maximizing the use of monitoring data to turn measurements and calculations into insights about critical assets. Stephan started his career in software for critical infrastructure when he joined the software architecture group of ABB corporate research in 2012. Before he did his PhD in Engineering at the Center for Autonomous Systems at the University of Technology, Sydney, in Australia.
