Biography
Sofiia Miliutenko Martin has been working in the field of sustainability for over 15 years. She is currently a sustainability specialist at Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy, where she focuses on integrating life cycle assessment (LCA) methodologies into wind energy sector at different levels and across various product ranges. She holds a PhD from KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Sweden. Her doctoral dissertation is titled “Consideration of life cycle energy use and greenhouse gas emissions for improved road infrastructure planning”. After her studies and research work at KTH, she spent several years at the IVL Swedish Environmental Research Institute and the Swedish Transport Administration, contributing to strategic infrastructure planning and academic research in the field of LCA. Her work is centered on applying LCA to improve the environmental performance of new technologies. She has received recognition for her contributions to sustainable infrastructure, applied LCA, and environmental strategy development.
