Biography

Mr. Santiago Bueno is a Naval Architect and Offshore Engineer at Seaplace, where he is involved in R&D projects on floating infrastructure, ballast systems and offshore logistics. He studied Naval Architecture and Offshore Engineering at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, completing both his bachelor's and master's degrees, as well as a specialized MSc in Marine Renewable Energies. His professional experience includes the development of floating wind platforms, repair and maintenance of large floating docks, and the design of innovative concepts for caisson construction. His current research focuses on installation strategies and wet storage for floating wind platforms, using digital simulation tools to optimize project execution. He has contributed to projects that bridge engineering design and innovation with practical marine operations, aiming to enhance the industrialization of floating offshore wind.
