Biography

Mrs. Follestad is a Principal Engineer in Wind Energy at 4subsea, where she has developed expertise in machine learning applications and motion monitoring for both floating and bottom-fixed offshore wind systems since 2020. With a Master's degree in Marine Technology from NTNU (2014) and a PhD in Physics from the University of Oslo (2016-2020), she brings a unique interdisciplinary perspective combining marine engineering foundations with advanced physics research to renewable energy challenges.
