Biography

Dr. Rashid Alshatti, is an Associate Research Scientist at the Energy and Building Research Center of the Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research (KISR). He earned his B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of South Florida, USA in 2009, 2011, and 2015, respectively. In 2016, Dr. Rashid began his professional career at the Ministry of Electricity and Water and Renewable Energy (MEWRE) in Kuwait, before transitioning to KISR in 2022. Dr. Rashid is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and an active member in several professional societies. His research is focused on Renewable Energy, Energy Storage, CFD, and HVAC&R.
