Biography

Rebecca Verhaeghe is a Project Manager for Blue Energy at POM West-Flanders (Belgium). She oversees the project management of key endeavors, including the Interreg project DecomTools (already completed), the Interreg project R.E.N.E.W., and the 'Belgium Builds Back' project Ready4Decom. Additionally, Rebecca spearheads the ETF projects Decompass and OWiDEx, dedicated to fostering a unified vision on the decommissioning of offshore wind in Belgium. Her contributions extend to various European (Interreg) projects, where she is instrumental in fortifying collaborative ties between European countries. Her focus on strengthening partnerships among small and medium-sized enterprises in the offshore wind industry is evident. Rebecca also plays a role in facilitating access to essential test and demonstration facilities, and addressing workforce needs in the sector.
