Biography

Rubén Claus is a PhD in Civil Engineering, recognized for achieving the best academic record award in both his Bachelor's and Master's degrees. In 2019, he was awarded a competitive contract for the European Project PORTOS (Interreg Atlantic Area), which focuses on marine renewable technologies and port energy supply. His doctoral research centered on the development of floating structures in marine environments, with particular expertise in numerical and experimental modelling. He is currently working at TYPSA, where he specializes in the structural and hydrodynamic assessment of various foundation types for offshore wind projects, contributing to the design and evaluation of innovative solutions in the renewable energy sector.
