Biography
Mr. Andreu Carbó Molina is an Aerospace Engineer graduated for the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (Spain) in 2013, with a specialization in Aerodynamics. After graduation, he coursed a Research Master in Fluid Dynamics at the Von Karman Institute in Belgium. In 2015 he worked as a Project Engineer at the Catalonia Institute for Energy Research (IREC), where he took part in the EU project RenewIT about integration of Renewable Energies in Data Centres. From 2016 until 2019 he stayed as a PhD researcher at the University of Florence (Italy), developing his thesis "Wind tunnel testing of small vertical-axis wind turbines for urban areas". This study was developed in collaboration with the Vrije Universiteit of Brussels and part of the ITN AEOLUS4FUTURE. Since 2020 he holds a position as Assistant Professor in the University Rey Juan Carlos in Madrid (Spain), where he teaches different courses of the Aerospace Engineering degrees.Posters
