Biography

Oscar Saborío-Romano received the B.Sc. (Hons.) degree in electrical engineering from the University of Costa Rica, Costa Rica, in 2013. In 2015, he received the M.Sc. degrees in electrical engineering and wind energy from Delft University of Technology, The Netherlands, and the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, Norway, respectively. He joined the Department of Wind and Energy Systems at the Technical University of Denmark, Denmark, in 2016, where he received his PhD degree and is currently a Senior Advisor. His research is focused on grid integration of renewables, HVDC, and modeling, control, and stability assessment of converters and converter-rich power systems.
