Andreas Klein

Biography
Dr. Andreas Klein has been working in the wind industry for more than 15 years. Currently, he is Vice President Drive Systems and Head of Engineering at Flender GmbH, operating under the Winergy brand. Klein earned his degree in Mechanical Engineering from RWTH Aachen University in Germany, followed by a Ph.D. specializing in the 'Dynamic Simulation of Drive Systems'. After completing his academic pursuits, he dedicated nearly five years to Bosch Rexroth AG's Renewable Energies Business Unit. His research primarily focuses on components of wind drive systems, particularly gearboxes, with an emphasis on enhancing their torque density.Posters
