Biography

Dr. Nurseda Yıldırım Yürüşen has (over) 10 years of experience in the wind energy industry. She is currently working as a senior project engineer at UL Solutions. She is responsible for Operational Energy Yield Assessment studies. Previously, she performed various technical services related to preconstruction wind resource assessment (energy yield assessment, meteorological mast & remote sensing device data analysis, repowering evaluation, and solar-wind hybridization) and was the contact person of the IBLA team for Openwind. Prior to joining UL Solutions, Nurseda´s previous roles in the wind energy sector included being a researcher in the Advanced Wind Energy Systems Operation and Maintenance Expertise project within the European Union's Marie Curie Innovative Training Network. She is a co-author of various articles published in scientific journals and international conferences. Between 2018 & 2022, she worked on developing reliability models, KPI monitorization, anomaly detection and optimal maintenance planning algorithms.
